Bhama Rukmani

Bhama Rukmani is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by R. Bhaskaran and written by K. Bhagyaraj.

The film stars Bhagyaraj, Radhika, and Praveena in its lead roles. It was released on June 12, 1980.

The story revolves around Nandagopal "Nandu", who has been in love with Rukmani since school but is pressured by his family to marry his cousin Bhama. The central conflict involves family pressure forcing Nandu into an arranged marriage with Bhama at a temple, where Rukmani unexpectedly arrives.
