About 6 Candles
6 Melugu Vathigal (2013) is a Tamil crime thriller starring Shaam and Poonam Kaur. The story is about a missing child and a father's relentless effort to find the child during which he discovers the multi-million dollar child trafficing racket.
Shaam the hero of the movie portrays six different looks as he goes through six different states to solve the mystery. The dialogues for the movie were written by veteran tamil writer
Jayamohan who has authored many critically acclaimed works including Vishnupuram and Ezhaam Ulagam. V.Z. Durai whose previous works included Mugavaree, Kadhal Sadugudu, Thotti Jaya and Nepali wrote the original story and directed the movie.
The film received some positive reviews for Shaam's performance and the phyiscal transformations he had to go through to deliver it.
