Synopsis
Yaathisai is a 2023 historical fiction action-adventure film directed by Dharani Rasendran in his directorial debut.
The film stars Shakthi Mithran, Seyon Rajalakshmi, Samar, and Vaidhegi Amarnat in the lead roles, alongside Guru Somasundaram, Chandrakumar, Semmalar Annam, Subathra, and Vijay Seyon in supporting roles.
The story is set in the 7th century and revolves around the life of Pandiyan prince Ranadheeran, who ruled during a tumultuous period when the Chola dynasty lost its power and its people were forced to live in the woods.
