Synopsis
Walter is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by U. Anbarasan and produced by Shruthi Thilak.
The film stars Sibi Sathyaraj as Walter, an IPS officer who takes on the investigation to find a newborn baby for a couple seeking his assistance. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he suspects foul play is involved in their child's disappearance and uncovers connections to other missing children cases.
The film also incorporates an intense political drama element, featuring Eswara Moorthy, a prominent local politician, who faces challenges from Balu, his perceived successor. This ego clash between them becomes intertwined with Walter's investigation when it brings Arjun into the picture, linked to some of the missing children cases.
The principal photography for Walter began in June 2019 and the movie was released on March 13, 2020. The film also features Natty, Samuthirakani, Riythvika, Sanam Shetty, Munishkanth, and Shirin Kanchwala in key roles.
