Vinveli Payana Kurippugal

Vinveli Payana Kurippugal is a 2018 science fiction film directed by R. Jayaprakash and produced by Yazh Mozhi R. Babu Sankar under Lemurian Thirakkalam.

The film follows Duraipandi, an uneducated individual with a political background who resides in a county that is neither explicitly a town nor a village. He decides to embark on a trip into space.

The movie premiered in theaters on July 20, 2018, and played as an official selection in 28 different international film festivals, ultimately winning 12 awards, including Cult Critic Awards.

The cast includes Athvik Jalandhar, Pooja Ramakrishnan, Jogikumar, Gopalakrishnan, Muthirulan, and Se Thamizh. Music for the film was composed by Ganesh Raghavendra of Renigunta fame.
