Synopsis
Vil Vithai (transl. Archery) is a 2023 Tamil-language social thriller film directed by S. Hari Uthraa.
The film stars Arun Micheal Daniel and Aarathya in the lead roles, with Janaki Amma, Guna, S. M. T. Karunanidhi, and Vaishnavi in supporting roles.
Co-produced by S. Hari Uthraa and Arun Micheal Daniel under the banner of Uthraa Productions, the film follows the story of Mithran, a car driver, and Swetha, who tragically lose their child Bhavana to a gang of rapists.
Devastated by this horrific event, Mithran becomes determined to ensure that no other parents have to endure the pain and suffering they have experienced.
The film was released on 7 July 2023 and features cinematography by R N. Shivakumar, editing by Kishore M., and acquired theatrical rights by Mukil Creations.
