Velmurugan Borewells

Velmurugan Borewells is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Gopi M P and starring Mahesh, Ganja Karuppu, Aarushi, and Ragasya.

The film follows the story of a labourer who falls in love with the pretty daughter of the village council leader. The movie features music composed by Srikanth Deva and has a similar storyline to Lingaa (2014), although director Gopi claims that this film's storyline is not inspired from that film.

The production team includes comedian Ganja Karuppu, who also serves as producer for the film, and Aarushi, who worked on the movie alongside another unreleased Mahesh-starrer Adhithalam. Ragasya was cast opposite Ganja Karuppu.

Music by Srikanth Deva, with guests including Ameer, Samuthirakani, AR Murugadoss and Karu Pazhaniappan at the film's audio launch.

The film reportedly has a similar storyline to Lingaa (2014); however, director Gopi claims that this film's storyline is not inspired from that film.
