Synopsis
Velaiilla Pattadhari is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Velraj and produced by Dhanush.
The film follows Raghuvaran "Raghu," an unemployed graduate, as he tries to overcome various obstacles before and after finding employment.
Starring alongside Amala Paul, Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani, and Surbhi, the movie features Dhanush in a lead role.
The original soundtrack was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with the stunt department handled by Hari Dinesh.
Principal photography began in August 2013 and concluded by May 2014. The film is the predecessor to Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (2017), directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
