Synopsis
Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Ponram in his directorial debut.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sathyaraj, Sri Divya (in her Tamil debut), and Soori in prominent roles. The music for the film is composed by D. Imman, with cinematography handled by Balasubramaniem and editing done by Vivek Harshan.
The story follows Bosepandi (Sivakarthikeyan), a group leader who falls in love with Kalyani (Bindu Madhavi), but is heartbroken when she gets married. He seeks the help of Lathapandi (Sri Divya) to deliver love letters, leading to an unexpected romance.
The film was released on 6 September 2013 and became a critical and commercial success, coinciding with the Ganesh Chathurthi weekend. It was remade in Kannada as Adyaksha and in Telugu as Current Theega.
