Synopsis
Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is a 2019 action comedy film directed by Sundar C and produced by Lyca Productions.
The film stars Silambarasan in the lead role as Raghunandhan, a wealthy but unhappy businessman residing in Madrid. His primary goal revolves around reconciling with his estranged daughter, Nandhini, whom he expelled due to her marriage to Prakash.
Raghunandhan tasks his grandson, Raja, with bringing Nandhini and her husband, Prakash, back home for a special occasion - Raghunandhan's 80th birthday celebration. The main cast also includes Ramya Krishnan as Nandhini, Prabhu as Raja, Nassar, Megha Akash, Catherine Tresa, Mahat Raghavendra, and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.
The film's music is composed by Hiphop Tamizha. The title "Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven" originates from a dialogue delivered by Silambarasan in their previous collaboration, the 2018 film "Chekka Chivantha Vaanam".
