Vanjagar Ulagam

Vanjagar Ulagam is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by Manoj Beedha in his directorial debut.

The screenplay features dialogues co-written by Beedha alongside Vinayak, and the film stars Guru Somasundaram, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, Vishagan Vanangamudi, and Anisha Ambrose, with several supporting actors.

The movie centers on the murder of an unknown woman, with her neighbor becoming the prime suspect due to circumstantial evidence or proximity. A journalist also becomes involved, intending to use the investigation as bait to lure out an elusive gangster from hiding.

Vanjagar Ulagam was released in India on 7 September 2018 and marks Beedha's maiden directorial venture. The film features a unique blend of Carnatic music and dubstep for one of its songs, making it the first Tamil film to use both genres.
