Vanamagan

Vanamagan is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action adventure film directed by A. L. Vijay and starring Ravi Mohan and Sayyeshaa.

The film follows Kavya, a wealthy young woman who travels to the Andaman Islands with her friends to celebrate New Year's Eve. During their unauthorized visit, Kavya and her companions are evading forest officers when they accidentally collide with Jara, an indigenous tribal man.

The narrative centers on the interaction between these two distinct individuals after the incident. The film also explores Kavya's backstory, including her parents' death in a childhood accident and their legacy of wealth through her father's friend Rajasekhar.

Vanamagan features Ravi Mohan and Sayyeshaa in lead roles, alongside Prakash Raj, Thambi Ramaiah, and Varun in supporting roles. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj, with cinematography by Tirru and editing by Anthony.

The film began production in September 2016 and was released on June 23, 2017.
