Vaandu

Vandu is a 2019 Indian action drama film directed by debutante Vashan Shaji.

The film stars newcomers Chinu, SR Guna, Shigaa, and Allwin in leading roles, with Sai Dheena playing a negative role as the antagonist. Shigaa plays the heroine, while several other actors make up the ensemble cast.

The story is inspired by street fights that took place in North Chennai in 1971. The film was shot in Chennai over 63 days and features music composed by A. R. Neshan.

Chinu makes her screen debut with significant prominence, marking a fresh start for the four primary performers who share the spotlight in this action-oriented drama.
