Vaaimai

Vaaimai (The Truth) is a 2016 Tamil-language legal drama film written and directed by A. Senthil Kumar.

The film tells the story of a woman who must defend herself against accusations that she was an accomplice to her son's assassination of a politician, while also following the story of a young man as he attempts to prove justice within the court system and across the nation regarding this incident.

Starring Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Muktha Bhanu amongst an ensemble cast, including Goundamani, Thyagarajan, Ramki, Urvashi, Manoj K. Bharathi, Prithvi Pandiarajan, and Poornima Bhagyaraj.

Production began in February 2013, with the film being shot in places like Delhi, Rishikesh, before its release on September 8, 2016.
