Synopsis
Un Samayal Arayil is a 2014 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Prakash Raj.
The film stars Prakash Raj and Sneha alongside Urvashi, Tejus, and Samyukta Hornad.
The movie features the original score and soundtrack by Ilaiyaraja.
It is a remake of Aashiq Abu's 2011 Malayalam film Salt N' Pepper, simultaneously shot in three languages: Tamil (Un Samayal Arayil), Kannada (Oggarane), and Telugu (Ulavacharu Biryani).
The story follows Kalidasan, an archaeologist who is a chronic bachelor and a food lover, and Gowri, a dubbing artiste who loves cooking.
Due to a wrong call, they converse and soon realize their love for 'kutty dosa', but their shy nature, insecurity, and misunderstandings prevent them from expressing their feelings.
The film was released on June 6, 2014, to mixed reviews in Telugu and Tamil, while the Kannada version received positive reviews.
