Ulagammai

Ulagammai is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed and produced by V. Jayaprakash.

The film stars Gouri Kishan as Ulagammai, Vetri Mithran as Loganathan, and Pranav as Aruna, among others.

Based on the popular Tamil novel "Oru Kottukku Veliye" by Su. Samuthiram, the story revolves around Marimuthu Nadar's arranged marriage for his daughter Saroja to Loganathan, with a misunderstanding occurring when Loganathan mistakes Ulagammai for his bride-to-be.

The film was released on 22 September 2023 and garnered attention for releasing its background score over a year before the theatrical release of the film.
