Thumbaa

Thumbaa is an adventure film released in 2019, directed by Harish Ram L. H. in his directorial debut.

The story unfolds against the scenic backdrop of the Western Ghats and features visual effects (VFX) and computer graphics throughout its production.

The film stars Darshan as a forest officer dedicated to protecting the area's wildlife, who finds unexpected allies: two talented painters and a photographer. These three individuals join forces with him to combat illegal hunting within their shared environment.

Keerthi Pandian plays an aspiring young wildlife photographer named Varsha, while Dheena appears in a supporting role as Umapathy. Principal photography commenced on December 27, 2018, wrapping up successfully by April 11, 2019.

The soundtrack of the film features three songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Vivek-Mervin, and Santhosh Dhayanidhi. The cinematography was handled by Naren Elan, while R. Kalaivanan edited the film.

Thumbaa was released worldwide on June 21, 2019, and was dubbed in Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
