Thirukkural

Thirukkural is a 2025 Indian Tamil language biographical drama film directed by A.J. Balakrishnan and produced under Ramana Communications.

The film features music composed by Ilaiyaraaja, with all the songs written by him. It does not follow a traditional biopic of Thiruvalluvar but instead explores the social background during the time of writing the tome.

The movie was announced in November 2023 and received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the director's effort and appreciated the incorporation of various aspects into the story.
