Theerpugal Virkapadum

Theerpugal Virkapadum is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language vigilante thriller film directed by Dheran.

Starring Sathyaraj, Madhusudhan Rao, Smruthi Venkat, and Harish Uthaman, the movie follows Dr. Nalan Kumar, a chief gynecologist who kidnaps the son of an influential businessman Rudhravel after being mocked by authority for his pleas and appeals.

The film is shot in 8K resolution with cinematography by Garudavega Anji. A dubbed Telugu version titled as Emergency is also available.

Dr. Nalan Kumar's actions are motivated by a desire to protect his dear one from violence, but he takes extreme measures that lead to a cat-and-mouse game with Rudhravel and his nephew Rajendran.
