Thavam

Thavam is a 2019 film directed by R. Vijay Anand and A. R. Suriyan. The movie stars newcomers Vasi Ashif, Pooja Shree, and Seeman in the lead roles.

The story follows three friends - Murugan (Vasi Ashif), Akila (Pooja Shree), and Natesan (Seeman) - who are brought together after two decades. One of them is determined to take revenge on the other two for his father's death.

A subplot in the film features a love story between Murugan and Akila. The movie also stars Seeman reprising his role as a farmer rights activist from Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA.

The soundtrack was composed by Srikanth Deva, who also sang one song. The audio was released on 4 December 2019.

Thavam released to negative reviews and was later released after a six-year hiatus.
