Thadam

Thadam is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed and written by Magizh Thirumeni.

The film stars Arun Vijay in a dual role as Ezhil, a civil engineer, and Kavin, a gambling thief who looks identical to Ezhil. The narrative follows the police investigation into a murder that occurs during a stormy night, with photographic evidence pointing to one of the men as the suspect.

Inspector Gopalakrishnan identifies Ezhil as the killer, while Sub-Inspector Malarvizhi holds a different opinion about Kavin's guilt or innocence. The film features Vidya Pradeep, Tanya Hope, and Smruthi Venkat in key roles.

The music was composed by Arun Raj, with cinematography by Gopinath and editing by N. B. Srikanth. Produced by Inder Kumar, the film was released theatrically on 1 March 2019 to critical acclaim and commercial success.
