Synopsis
Sethu Boomi is a 2016 Indian Tamil action-drama film written and directed by Kenthiran Muniasami. The film explores the reasoning behind an alleged feud between the people of two districts in Tamil Nadu, focusing on the aggressive behavior of certain miscreants that leads to the death of a woman.
The cast includes Thaman Kumar as Kumaran, Samskruthy Shenoy as Malar, Kenthiran Muniasami as Sami, and Junior Balaiah and Singampuli in supporting roles. The music for the film was composed by V. T. Bharathi and V. T. Monish.
Principal photography took place around Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai during early 2015, with post-production finishing by June of that year. The team selected actors Thaman Kumar and Samskruthy Shenoy to play pivotal roles after Kenthiran Muniasami's first film, Ayyan (2011), received an average response.
