Synopsis
Sawaari is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language road psychological thriller film directed by Guhan Senniappan.
The film stars Benito Franklin, Sanam Shetty, Karthik Yogi, and Mathivanan Rajendran, with music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar and cinematography by Chezhiyan.
ACP Solomon is the main character, played by Benito Franklin, who is assigned to find a psycho killer. The story follows his journey as he tries to track down the killer.
The movie explores themes of thriller cinema and features three contradicting characters: ACP Solomon, a cop; a psycho killer; and a driver. The story takes place on a highway where the driver encounters a man asking for a lift, leading to a series of events that unfold as he tries to find the psycho killer.
The film was theatrically released on 18 March 2016 by Sri Thenandal Films and received positive reviews.
