The film is an uncredited remake of the 2003 Japanese thriller Game, based on a Keigo Higashino novel. It follows Vikram, a young project manager at an architecture firm in Chennai, who becomes embroiled in a sinister plot with his colleague and Chandrasekaran's rebellious daughter.
