Synopsis
Salim is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by N. V. Nirmal Kumar.
The film stars Vijay Antony and Aksha Pardasany, and was produced by Studio 9, Sri Green Productions, and Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
The movie serves as a direct sequel to Vijay Antony's debut film Naan (2012) and follows the story of Karthik, alias Mohammed Salim, a bright student from Ramanathapuram who becomes an honest doctor at a private hospital in Chennai.
Salim often goes out of his way to help needy patients, earning him the wrath and jealousy of his colleagues. He also finds himself being stalked by his suitor Nisha, whom he eventually gives her personal diary to impress.
The film was released on 29 August 2014 and received positive reviews from critics, becoming a commercial success.
