Rum

Rum is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Sai Bharath. The movie blends horror, comedy, and thriller elements.

The central plot revolves around a group of highly skilled thieves who successfully execute a complex heist. Following the completion of their operation, they manage to escape from authorities but find themselves pursued or cornered. Seeking refuge and a place to regroup away from prying eyes, the thieves retreat into an old, dilapidated house.

Upon entering this seemingly abandoned dwelling, however, they encounter more immediate and terrifying problems than just their pursuers. They discover that the house is haunted by supernatural forces or entities. This discovery transforms their situation dramatically as they must now contend with these unknown terrors while also trying to evade capture.

The film features a notable cast including Hrishikesh, Vivek, Narain, Sanchita Shetty, and Miya in leading roles. The soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Production commenced during the early part of 2016, with the movie finally released on February 17th, 2017.
