Raangi

Raangi is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by M. Saravanan and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under Lyca Productions.

The film stars Trisha Krishnan, Bekzod Abdumalikov, and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles, with music composed by C Sathya and cinematography by K. A. Sakthivel.

Thaiyal Nayagi, a fearless investigative journalist, is arrested by a special police task force for the murder of Police Inspector Krishnamurthy, but is rescued by a team of FBI and CBI agents.

The story begins when Thaiyal encounters Inspector Krishnamurthy during a routine police check and records him making inappropriate comments, which she later posts online.

Meanwhile, Thaiyal Nayagi stumbles upon a fake Facebook account of her niece and encounters a boy named Aalim from Libya, while the FBI plans to use her and her niece as bait to bring Aalim into their custody.

Raangi was released in theaters on 30 December 2022.
