Synopsis
Pulivaal is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language comedy thriller film directed by G. Marimuthu and produced by Sarath Kumar and Listin Stephen.
The film stars Vimal, Prasanna, Oviya, Ananya, and Ineya in key roles.
The story revolves around two men who are poles apart in their lifestyles. The film follows Kasi, a Madurai-based youth who lives with his colleague and works in a supermarket, as he navigates his love life and friendships.
Karthik, a wealthy corporate honcho, is engaged to Pavitra but has an affair with his secretary Monica, while Kathir, a slum dweller, is in love with his colleague Selvi. The lives of these two men become intertwined over a missing mobile phone containing Karthik's steamy video with Monica.
The film was released on 7 February 2014 and marked the director's final directorial before his death in 2023.
