Poochandi (2022) is a Malaysian Tamil-language horror thriller film released as Poosandi Varan.
The film tells the story of journalist Murugan (RJ Ramana), who travels to Malaysia to collect local true ghost stories and encounters a frightening supernatural entity that haunts a group of friends, including Shankar (Tinesh Sarathi Krishnan).
Shankar shares a spine-chilling paranormal experience with Murugan, leaving the journalist questioning whether his friends survived.
The film was released in cinemas on 27 January 2022 in Malaysia and Singapore, and on 1 April 2022 in Tamil Nadu, India.
