Synopsis
Pandigai is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by debutant Feroz and produced by his wife Vijayalakshmi Ahathian.
The film stars Krishna and Anandhi, with supporting roles played by Saravanan, Pandi, Karunas, Madhusudhan Rao, and Arjai. The music was composed by R. H. Vikram, while the cinematography was handled by Aravind.
The story follows Velu, a low-level hotel worker who gets involved in a street fighting racket on the advice of a compulsive gambler. When they realize they have been duped by the gangster controlling the racket, they decide to rob him.
Velu's journey from his traumatic childhood to his life as a young adult struggling to make ends meet in the city is also explored in the film.
