Synopsis
Odu Raja Odu is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language black comedy film directed by Nishanth Ravindaran and Jathin Sanker Raj in their directorial debuts.
The screenplay was written by Nishanth Ravindaran, and the music was composed for the first time by Tosh Nanda. The soundtrack features a score that marks the debut of composer Tosh Nanda.
The film stars Simran and Guru Somasundaram alongside Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, with supporting appearances by Anandsami, Nassar, Charu Hassan, Power Star Srinivasan, Venkatesh Harinathan, and Sona Heiden. The film also marks the comeback of veteran actress Simran in a cameo role and the acting debut of her husband Deepak Bagga.
The movie follows Manohar, a jobless struggling writer whose wife pressures him to get a set top box for her birthday.
The film had its theatrical release on 17 August 2018.
