Synopsis
Naadu is a 2023 Tamil-language drama film written and directed by M. Saravanan.
The film stars Tharshan and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles, with R. S. Shivaji appearing in dual roles as Maari's father and uncle.
The story follows an urban-educated doctor who is transferred to a rural village, where she aims to mitigate the frequent spread of illness and disease that plagues the area.
Produced by Narayanan Sri Arch Media and Entertainment, the film features a musical score composed by C. Sathya and stunning cinematography by K. A. Sakthivel.
The team conducted a 35-day acting workshop prior to production, which began in 2022.
Naadu was released theatrically on December 1, 2023.
