
Mundasupatti is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language historical comedy film directed by Ram D and starring Vishnu.
The story takes place in 1982 in a village where people believe bad luck will befall them if they are photographed. Two photographers visit the village, and Gopi (Vishnu), who runs a photo studio called Hollywood Studio, falls in love with the village chief's daughter Kalaivani (Nandita). However, he is constantly troubled by her uncle Muniskanth (Ramdoss), who wants to be the next superstar.
The film was produced by C. V. Kumar under his banner Thirukumaran Entertainment and Fox Star Studios, and features Anandaraj, Kaali Venkat in supporting roles. The technical crew includes composer Sean Roldan, cinematographer P. V. Shankar, and editor Leo John Paul.
Principal photography commenced in August 2013 and ended by October 2013, taking place primarily in Sakkimangalam. The film received a positive critical response and became a box office success upon its release on June 13, 2014.
