Synopsis
Megha is a 2014 Indian Tamil language romantic action film written and directed by Karthik Rishi.
The film stars Ashwin Kakumanu as Mugilan, a lovable and kind middle-class man who works as a forensic officer, and Srushti Dange as Meghavathy Srinivasan aka Megha, a woman from a rich family background. Angana Roy plays both Megha's fiancée and a nurse working at a hospital.
The movie explores the romance between Mugilan and Megha, with the story switching back and forth between their present-day relationship and a series of sequences set in a hospital where Mugilan is injured. Ilaiyaraaja composed the film's soundtrack and background score.
The film was jointly produced by Albert James and S. Selvakumar and released on 29 August 2014. It was a success at the box office, with its songs receiving praise.
