Meesaya Murukku is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language coming-of-age musical comedy-drama film written and directed by Hiphop Tamizha in his directorial debut.
The story revolves around Adhi, a young college student who aspires to become an independent musician. His journey towards musical success forms one thread of the narrative, which is interwoven with romantic aspects and comedic scenes throughout its duration.
Adhi's experiences at college are intertwined with his personal developments, including falling in love with Nila, a childhood friend from an affluent family whose parents disapprove of their relationship. The film features Adhi (played by Hiphop Tamizha), Aathmika as Nila, Vivek, RJ Vigneshkanth, and Vijayalakshmi in supporting roles.
The film was released on 21 July 2017 to mostly positive reviews and became a box-office hit. It was later remade in Kannada in 2019 as Padde Huli.
