Synopsis
Kurai Ondrum Illai is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Karthick and starring Geethan Britto as Krishna and Haritha Parukod as Sandhya.
The film explores themes typical of drama cinema, showcasing the talents of its cast and crew. It marks the film debut of Jodi Number One fame Geethan Britto and Kana Kaanum Kaalangal fame Haritha Parukod.
Geethan Britto plays Krishna, while Haritha Parukod portrays Sandhya. The supporting cast includes Shruti Pradeep as Krishna's mother, Vinoth Sagar as Sandhya's father, Vijayalakshmi as Sandhya's mother, and Amrutha Srinivasan as Deepika.
The film was crowdfunded by sixty different investors and took three years to complete. It was shot in the nearby villages of Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli. The soundtrack was composed by Ramanu (Ramanujan MK), with contributions from Vijay Sethupathi and Balaji Mohan at the film's audio launch.
