Synopsis
Kattil is a 2023 Tamil drama film written and directed by E. V. Ganesh Babu. The title "Kattil" translates to "Bed" in English, hinting at the domestic themes explored in the film.
The script was handled by B. Lenin, while editing was also done by him. Geetha Kailasam made her debut as a theatre-person and producer in this film, which marked its completion in January 2021 after a shoot across Karaikudi, Pollachi, and Palakkad in late 2019.
The film stars E.V. Ganesh Babu, Srushti Dange, Semmalar Annam, Geetha Kailasam, Kannika Ravi, Sampath Ram, Indra Sounderrajan as Ramaiah, Master Nitish as the younger Suresh, and Vidharth as Suresh in a guest appearance.
The film was released theatrically on December 8, 2023.
