Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal is a 2020 Tamil-language film marking the directorial debut of Desingh Periyasamy. The movie features Dulquer Salmaan, Ritu Varma, and Rakshan among its principal actors.
The narrative centers on two pairs of individuals who operate as con artists, concealing their true profession by presenting themselves professionally but actually earning money through various scams, including online shopping frauds and thefts. These characters develop romantic feelings for two young women they encounter, leading them to decide that the women should elope with them from Chennai to Goa.
However, shortly after this relocation in Goa, the protagonists face consequences from authorities familiar with their past activities – police officers who previously investigated minor scams. The con artists learn that they have lost substantial life savings and understand they have been deceived romantically.
Despite this betrayal, rather than seeking confrontation with the women or authorities, their focus shifts to a new plan: collaborating on a larger heist operation in Delhi. With police pursuit intensifying over them, the characters unite under this new criminal venture, managing to execute a significant theft before attempting another escape from danger and into anonymity.
The film was released on 28 February 2020 and features a score composed by Masala Coffee and Harshavardhan Rameshwar. It marked the debuts of Rakshan and Niranjani Ahathian, and was successful at the box office.
