Synopsis
Kannula Kaasa Kattappa is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Gowtham Sundararajan.
The film features Aravind Akash, Chandini Tamilarasan, and Ashwathy Warrier in its leading roles. The plot revolves around two main storylines: a minister attempting to stash his illegal money in an offshore bank account using a hawala broker, and a group of petty thieves operating in Malaysia planning their scheme to steal this cash from the intended destination or during transit.
The soundtrack was composed by Divakar Subramaniam, with songs also credited to Anugraha Sridhar and M. J. Shriram. Production commenced in August 2015, following Sundararajan's directorial debut after a year spent finalising the script. The film was released on November 25, 2016.
The film received mixed reviews from critics upon its release.
