Synopsis
Kanam is a 2022 Tamil science fiction melodrama film directed by Shree Karthick and starring Sharwanand in the lead role.
The film follows a group of friends who travel back in time with the help of a scientist, as they embark on an experiment that goes awry.
Simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil languages, Kanam also stars Amala Akkineni and Ritu Varma. Principal filming took place in Hyderabad and Chennai, with an 8-month delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie was released theatrically on September 9, 2022, and received positive reviews from critics, performing well at the box office.
