Kalkandu is a 2014 Indian Tamil comedy film directed by A. M. Nandakumar and starring Gajesh.
The film tells the story of Karthik, whose family forces him to attend medical school. However, due to a mix-up at the admissions office, he gets admitted in his place, leading to a series of changes in his life.
Featuring Gajesh and Dimple Chopade in lead roles, the film was released in October 2014.
The movie also marks the debut of Gajesh, son of actor-dancer Anand Babu and grandson of comedian Nagesh. A special sequence featuring all three generations of the family through computer imagery is included as a tribute to late actor Nagesh's animation in Kochadaiiyaan (2014).
