Kaithi

Kaithi is a 2019 Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The film is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekananda Pictures, and serves as the inaugural feature in the director's Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

The central figure of the narrative is Karthi, who portrays a recently paroled convict. The story unfolds primarily within the confines of one night.

His motivation driving much of his actions is deeply personal: he wishes to reunite with his daughter whom he has not seen in years. To achieve this end, the film depicts him being compelled by circumstances to assist the police department.
