Kaadu

Kaadu is a 2014 Indian Tamil language film directed by Stalin Ramalingam and produced by Nehru Nagar Nandhu.

The film stars Vidharth and Samskruthy Shenoy, with Vettai Muthukumar, Samuthirakani, Thambi Ramaiah, and Aadukalam Naren in supporting roles.

Editing was done by Kasi Vishwanathan, and the music was composed by K.

The film follows Velu, an illiterate who sells firewood to make a living, as he navigates his relationships with Poongodi, a school student, and Karuna, his friend who aspires to be a forest officer but gets caught smuggling sandalwood.

Kaadu was released on 21 November 2014.
