Irudhi Suttru is a 2016 Indian sports drama film written and directed by Sudha Kongara.
The film stars R. Madhavan as Prabhu, a boxing coach from Hisar, Haryana, who is transferred to Chennai against his bosses' wishes due to his unconventional training methods.
Prabhu discovers Ritika Singh's character, Madhi, possesses raw fighting talent but lacks proper coaching, and decides to train her despite the objections of external boxing associations.
The film chronicles Prabhu's journey as he guides Madhi towards success in the sport she loves, navigating challenges from within their family dynamic and external obstacles.
Irudhi Sutru was filmed simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, with the latter being titled Saala Khadoos. The film marks R. Madhavan's comeback to Tamil cinema after four years.
