Irandam Kuththu is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language adult horror comedy film released on November 14.
The narrative follows two male friends, Veera and Vasu, who travel to Bangkok with their wives for their honeymoons. Their holiday quickly becomes complicated when they encounter various supernatural incidents involving ghosts within the Thai capital.
The ghostly entities specifically target the men accompanying them, making demands that are awkward in nature and directly related to their personal lives or relationships.
The film is driven by these strange events experienced while on holiday, focusing on how the male members of the foursome are affected and respond to the ghostly demands placed upon them.
Written and directed by Santhosh P. Jayakumar and Daniel Annie Pope alongside Meenal Sahu and Akrithi Singh, Irandam Kuththu is a spiritual successor to the director's earlier work, Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu (2018).
The movie is based on the South Korean movie A Tale of Legendary Libido and stars Veera and Vasu as the two friends at the center of the story.
