Gilli Bambaram Goli is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama film directed by D. Manoharan and produced under his banner, Mani Movies.
The story revolves around four young individuals who travel to Malaysia in search of better opportunities or simply to make ends meet with their work there. They find themselves clashing with a local gangster, whose influence negatively impacts them.
The film explores the challenges these youngsters face due to this encounter and its consequences. In the latter part of the narrative, the four protagonists unite against the antagonist, the gangster, leveraging their unique individual talents during various outdoor games or activities as they engage in a conflict with him.
The five lead actors were chosen from a group of forty to fifty people and given four months acting training. The film was shot in Malaysia (including Langkawi) and Hyderabad.
The soundtrack of the film was composed by Y. R. Prasad. The film features newcomers Prasath, Deepthi Shetty, Tamizh, Naren and Santhosh Kumar as Gangster.
