Synopsis
Eeswaran is a 2021 Tamil action drama film directed by Suseenthiran and produced by Balaji Kapa under Madhav Media.
The film stars Silambarasan in the lead role, alongside Bharathiraja, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Nandita Swetha. The music was scored by Thaman S, with cinematography by Tirru and editing by Anthony.
The plot of Eeswaran revolves around Periyasamy, a farmer whose simple and joyous life is turned upside down due to internal family disputes. After a visit from the family astrologer Kaali, who makes accurate predictions about their past and future, Paapathi slips and injures her head, succumbing to her injuries.
Principal photography commenced on Dindigul in October 2020 and wrapped up within a single schedule of 22 days. The film was released on 14 January 2021, coinciding with Pongal.
