Synopsis
Chiyangal is an Indian Tamil-language film released in 2020, directed and written by Vaigarai Balan.
The film stars Karikalan and Risha, with Nalinikanth and several senior newcomers in supporting roles.
The story follows seven elderly friends who leave their rural village to journey towards Chennai, bound by a shared ambition to achieve one significant dream before substantial life changes occur.
Upon reaching their destination, the characters encounter numerous unforeseen events and complications that shatter their carefully planned strategies.
The film was shot in Theni and Meghamalai, with music composed by Muthamil. It introduces seventy new faces to the screen.
