Ayothi

Ayothi is a 2023 Tamil melodramatic procedural drama film directed by R. Manthira Moorthy and starring M. Sasikumar, Yashpal Sharma, Preethi Asrani, Pugazh, Anju Asrani, and Master Advaith Vinod in the lead roles.

The film's music was composed by N. R. Raghunanthan, with cinematography by Madhesh Manickam and editing by San Lokesh.

About 50% of the film's dialogues are in Hindi, adding a unique linguistic element to this Tamil-language film.

Ayothi follows the story of Balram, an orthodox Hindu living in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, who embarks on a pilgrimage with his family. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they hire a cab for Rameswaram, leading to a confrontation with the driver Kanagu.
