Aranmanai

Aranmanai is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film directed by Sundar C.

The film features an ensemble cast including Sundar, Vinay, Santhanam, Hansika Motwani, Andrea Jeremiah, Raai Laxmi, Kovai Sarala, Manobala, Chitra Lakshmanan and Nithin Sathya.

The movie follows a family who returns to their hometown to sell their ancestral palace. However, their arrival is marked by supernatural events, and a relative of the family decides to uncover the truth behind these mysterious happenings.

Produced by Vision i Medias and distributed by Sri Thenandal Films and Red Giant Movies, Aranmanai was released on 19 September 2014 to mostly positive reviews from critics. The film grossed ₹64 at the box office and became a commercial success, one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of the year.
